Away on my boat this weekend

Getting really excited, we are away on our beloved narrowboat from this Sunday for a week's holiday. Hope the weather will stay as calm as it has been this week. I don't mind the cold if the sun is out and the frost is about as long as it is not wet and windy, then it is horrible trying to steer a boat with no shelter from the elements.
Planned our trip this time from our marina at Alvechurch south of Birmingham across to Lapworth on the Stratford Canal, can't go any further as there is a maintenance stoppage at the lock flight there, so we will turn around head into Birmingham city and on to the Black Country Museum for a couple of days. This is a fascinating place full of olde worlde buses, trams, old shops and for someone of my advancing years.!! is somewhere I feel so at home......lol

Dad's birthday next week and as we are travelling to Spain to visit Mum & Dad just before Christmas, I will be taking this card with me.

This is my Christmas section, with just a few of the cards I have made for close family and friends.

This is a Stationery Box I have made today from templates from Create & Craft. Decorated with custom made backing sheets from the My Craft Studio Magic of Christmas cd range.

Inside is a set of notepaper, envelopes, pen, Thank You cards and envelopes and a set of four tags and a desk calendar.

This took a whole day to make so I will not be rushing to make another one soon but I did enjoy doing something a little bit different.

Here is a calendar I have made for a Christmas Fayre I am selling at this weekend. The images are from the My Craft Studio cd range entitled The Magic of Christmas. The fairy is called Princess Tilly and is so cute.
